What are the fare classifications?

Adult : Aged 12 or older

Child : Aged 6 to 12
* Elementary schoolchild is a child fare.
* Each child fare is half price of the adult fare.

Infant : Aged 1 to 5
* An infant who is not accompanied by a person aged 6 or older needs to pay the child fare.
* An infant who is accompanied by a person aged 6 or older can take the bus for free.

Baby : Under 1
* Free

Can you change money on a bus?

We can change 1,000-yen bills, and 500-yen and 100-yen coins.

Can I use an IC card?

Yes, you can, except for an express bus requiring prior reservation.
It starts servicing from April 1, 2016.

PiTaPa / manaca / ICOCA / TOICA / Suica / PASMO / Kitaca / SUGOCA / nimoca / HAYAKAKEN (You cannot charge an IC card on buses or at our bus ticket counters.)

Where can I buy a ticket?

There are ticket counters at major bus terminals. You can pay by cash on a bus except on an express bus requiring prior reservation.

Can I smoke on a bus?

No, all buses are non-smoking on all routes.

Can I use my mobile phone or smartphone on a bus?

Please switch off your mobile phone (smartphone) or set your mobile phone (smartphone) to silent mode. Please refrain from speaking on the phone. On an overnight express bus, please refrain from using your mobile phone (smartphone) after the lights are turned off.

Can I take a bus in a wheelchair?

Yes, you can.
However, some buses may not be equipped with a ramp and ramps cannot be used at some bus stops due to their shapes. In an express bus, we keep folded wheelchairs in the luggage trunk.

Can I take my pet onto a bus?

You can take your pet in a pet cage onto a bus.
However, you cannot take your pet onto overnight express buses or some express buses.

How much luggage can I carry onto a bus?

Free : 10 kg or less in weight, 0.027 m3 or less in volume and, 1 m or less in length(Rough size: a standard suitcase)
Subject to fees (child fare) : 30 kg or less in weight, 0.25 m3 or less in volume and, 2 m or less in length
Carrying any dangerous articles or articles that may trouble other passengers onto buses is not allowed.
