2. The Ise Jingu Geku and Sengu Hall
(60 min.)
The Ise Jingu Geku is dedicated to Toyouke-Omikami, a god who takes charge of meals for Amaterasu-Omikami and is worshiped as a guardian deity of clothing, food and housing and all industries.
Let's visit the Geku before the Naiku in accordance with a practice from ancient times, “When making a pilgrimage to the Ise Jingu, visit the Geku first and then visit the Naiku.”
The Sengu Hall, a museum to learn more about the Ise Jingu, is also a popular sightseeing spot.

Take a bus at [Geku-mae] Platform No. 2 and get off at [Chokokan-mae].

3. Jingu Chokokan Museum, Jingu-Museum of Agriculture and Jingu-Museum

The Ise Jingu Naiku is dedicated to Amaterasu-Omikami, the god in the highest position in Japan who shines on the heaven and the people. Surrounded by the beautiful greenery, brace yourself up and gives thanks that you were able to visit the shrine and express your continuing gratitude to the god.

4. Annex shrine of the Ise Jingu "Yamatohime-no-miya"
(15 min.)
Yamatohime-no-miya is the newest annex shrine, which was built in 1923 in honor of achievements of Yamatohime-no-Mikoto, who went around the whole country to look for a residence for Amaterasu-Omikami.

Take a bus at [Chokokan-mae] and get off at [Nakamuracho].

5. Annex shrine of the Ise Jingu "Tsukiyomi-no-miya"
(15 min.)
Tsukiyomi-no-miya is dedicated to Tsukiyomi-no-Mikoto, a brother god of Amaterasu-Omikami who shows the waxing and waning of the moon and presides over the calendar.

Take a bus at [Nakamuracho] and get off at [Sarutahiko Jinja-mae].

6. Sarutahiko Shrine
(20 min.)
Sarutahiko-no-Okami, the god to whom Sarutahiko Shrine is dedicated, is worshiped as a god of guidance, who guides people to the best direction when they begin something and encourages people who begin something new. Sarume Shrine, located on the precincts, is dedicated to Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto, who is the wife of Sarutahiko-no-Okami and a god of performing arts.
Many actors, musicians and entertainment-related people visit this shrine.

7. The Ise Jingu Naiku

The Ise Jingu Naiku is dedicated to Amaterasu-Omikami, the god in the highest position in Japan who shines on the heaven and the people. Surrounded by the beautiful greenery, brace yourself up and gives thanks that you were able to visit the shrine and express your continuing gratitude to the god.

8. Kintetsu Ujiyamada Station

9. Ise Kawasaki Shoninkan
(30 min.)
Ise Kawasaki has prospered as a wholesale district along the Seta River and is called the kitchen of Ise. Visitors can relax and enjoy seeing the past and present street views of cafes using old warehouses, tea houses, historic sake shops and pottery shops.
